Several times in our life we hear this quote – “A friend in need is a friend indeed!”. And then you listen to seemingly cynical statements that people can help you in any way but not with their hard earned or even “soft” earned money :). Right? Obviously both the quote and the cynical statement are correct but that’s what make the people extra special and great who not just supported us emotionally but also financially – all of them giving us their hard earned middle class income for our dreams – some even took huge personal loans for us, can you believe it? It is indeed a matter of extreme happiness and obligation that so many people believed in us and invested not just in our movie but also in our dreams! No return of money, even return with interest, would ever be enough to thank them for what they’ve done. If you don’t believe this, try arranging a few lacs for your “new” business venture through your friends and relatives only and then you’ll know what I mean. Manav, Matte and I arranged a few crores through only our friends and relatives and we’re so thankful that so many people believed in us – some invested 25thou to some 22lacs but bit by bit, it added to a huge amount which made the film possible.

When you see our film WITH LOVE, DELHI! on 16th December, it starts with thanking all these people. If there’s someone called God, HE’ll bless all of you with all that you want in life and we’ll always be there for you, even when we make it big in this Big Bad Bollywood (just kidding, for me, the film industry is nothing less than Utopia whatever the cynics might say).
